How it works

Research and insight

When starting a project, it is essential to first discuss the requirements in detail, including the size, material, quantity, and available finishing options to ensure clarity and alignment.

From there, determining the budget and deadline helps set realistic expectations and guides decision-making throughout the process. Equally important is understanding the full scope of the project to identify potential challenges and ensure all elements are addressed. Finally, discussing the key objectives provides a clear direction and ensures that the final outcome meets both functional needs and overall goals.

Survey & Site Visit

A thorough review of the project also allows for accurate final site sizing, ensuring the design fits the intended space and supports the planned use of the area or venue. This step not only guarantees functionality but also provides the opportunity to assess health and safety considerations, making sure the correct methods of production and installation are applied.

By addressing these factors early, the project can move forward smoothly, with reduced risks and greater confidence in successful delivery.

Project Management

A dedicated team should be selected based on the specific works required, ensuring the right expertise is in place to deliver the project effectively. This process also involves the formalisation of quotations and detailed specifications to provide transparency and accountability.

In parallel, health and safety considerations, along with CDM (Construction Design and Management) requirements, must be fully addressed to maintain compliance and safeguard all parties throughout the project’s delivery.

Creative

Artwork can be supplied to guide the creative direction, while studio design ensures concepts are developed with precision and attention to detail. To help visualise the outcome before production or installation, 3D renders can be created, providing a realistic representation of the final design and allowing for adjustments where needed.

Production and Manufacturing

The production process can include printing onto various substrates to achieve the desired visual impact, supported by CNC cutting for accuracy and precision. Joinery and bespoke hand finishing add craftsmanship and detail, ensuring a high-quality result. To guarantee everything functions as intended, a full pre-build and test can be carried out, allowing any adjustments to be made before final installation.

Installation

A dedicated install team ensures the project is delivered safely and efficiently, with all members holding the necessary certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, and CSCS. For projects requiring the highest quality,
museum-grade finishing can be provided to meet exacting standards. Additionally, out-of-hours installation is available to minimise disruption and ensure the work is completed within the required timeframe.

Project completion and support

At project completion, the team remains always available to provide ongoing support and ensure client satisfaction. In addition, maintenance services can be offered to keep the installation in excellent condition, extending its lifespan and preserving the quality of the finished work.
